Regartta 4 - !!!!

Morning, the verdent regartta...surpisingly they shocked everyone without getting  DQ...XDD

Afternoon, The Real race of Men 8+ of the day  - regartta 4 Champion, Congradzz !!
( I was so thrilled when i was rowing out of the pontoon and you guys were exactly getting near to the finishing line...against the 青訓...omg you guys were so near and i was so worried...haha gloriaXD)

Intervarsity Rowing Champion 2008!!!!

An excerpt from the alumni email...that explains the tearful day we had on 21st September 2008.

"Exhilarating! Thrilling! Touching!!  RECAPTURED!
 
The HKU Boys rocked their boat and dashed the  finished line (though invisible)  2 seconds faster than their opponents!  HKU senior staff, team-mates, alumni, family and friends were cheered with happy tears on the pontoon!  That was the moment which won't be easily forgotton by many!!
 
The boys have been training so hard and improving so much on mental power and physical strength these summer. Their chief coach, and also HKU Alumni Rowing team's Honarable Head Coach, Chi Lui should receive our many rounds of our applause! 
 
After the IRC, both Boys and Girls teams will keep on training and boost their potential to the utmost!!  It will be thrilling to see HKU's flag flying in high colours in the HK Champ which takes place on 15-16 Novemebr!"

29/7 ( tue)

Assemble time: 0940

Dismissal time : 1800

Venue: Sai Kung Pier

Fee: $180-$200

     ( $132 boat, $35 lunch, &miscellaneous)

Thing you must bring: Water ( drinking water will only be limitedly provided)

Things you may bring:

-Snacks

-DVD & karaoke DVD/VCD ( We have mic we can sing k )

- towel, swimsuit, sun cream, sunglasses, bath gel……things you bring to beach

Schedule

1000  set off from pier

1045  arrive at a specific stationary point

1100  -start banana boat ( with speed boat)

          -Swim

      -*go to beach by speed boat or by swimming ( maybe wait till afternoon session as we only have one speedboat)

1300   lunch

1400   -continue banana boat/ start wake board

       -swim

       -beach

1645   leave the stationary point and head back

1800   dismiss at sai kung pier

** it’s only a rough schedule , it will change depending on tmr’s condition
